These products have no chemicals and do not have VOC's(volatile organic compounds) which off-gas after construction. Another green construction method is to incorporate as many ways of recycling or reusing materials from another building or buying products with a high percentage of recycled content. Yet another technique includes building a structure that is super efficient, whether it makes use of super insulation, thermal mass, passive heating and cooling, or generating power through photovoltaics or wind turbines.Ideally, it would be wonderful to incorporate all the "green" techniques, but it doesn't always make sense if you have a budget to contend with.
